Briars Country Lodge contains 31 well appointed suites, a guest lounge with open fireplace and Conservatory for conferences and special occasions – all with rural views of the lake and countryside beyond. All suites come with King Bed or Twin set up with additional double sofa bed, separate dressing room and a bathroom with a bath. The split level sitting room leads to the outside terrace through french doors opening on to extensive grounds and the lake. We have six adjoining rooms which are perfect for larger family groups and a Bridal Suite for the lucky couple.

Facilities & Activities

Learn the art of fly fishing right on our very own lake with lunch at the historic Briars Inn. All equipment is provided and accommodation/ fly fishing packages and corporate fly fishing packages are available. The Briars offers midweek and weekend accommodation/ golf packages. The Moss Vale Golf Course is regarded as one of the prettiest in the NSW country regions, with avenues of pines, elms, gums and vividly coloured claret ash flanking the winding layout. For the energetic or those with little ones, the Briars has two hard court tennis courts, walking tracks around the surrounding countryside and a kiddies play gym.

The Course

Moss Vale Golf Course is regarded as one of the prettiest in the NSW Country Regions, with avenues of pines, elms, gums. It was completed in its present layout in 1936. The course is 5995m par 72 from the men's tees. A number of twists and turns, in addition to small elevated greens, make it a good test.
